Review by hotel critic
During my recent gourmet getaway at Palatin, I was eager to explore their culinary offerings, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. The restaurant's ambiance struck a lovely balance between modern elegance and comfort, making it a pleasant spot for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. For dinner, I tried a few dishes, and my expectations were met with creativity and flavor. The presentation was noteworthy, each plate telling its own story. The standout for me was the chef's take on traditional German cuisine, showcasing a fusion that beautifully married local ingredients with innovative techniques. Breakfast was a bit of a mixed bag. While the idea of a smaller buffet paired with à la carte options provided variety, I found the selection rather repetitive over my stay, which could benefit from more rotation. Nonetheless, Palatin remains a delightful base for exploring the region, with ski storage and a cozy bar to relax in after a busy day. It's a charming destination for anyone looking to indulge their palate.
